What we do

We teach individuals in the LGBT population to define themselves on video: Who they are, Who they were, and Who they hope to be. These honest depictions are then developed into constructive tools for a worldwide Internet audience. Our goal is to encourage LGBT people to become mentors and to support LGBT youth as they struggle to create their own identity.

IAC will encourage LGBT people around the world to come out and express their true selves. In doing so, they will link arms with the millions of "out" sisters and brothers who exist in ever community in ever nation on this planet. Contributers will complete a series of "I AM" statements on video. These personal interview will serve as the lifeblood of I Am Collective. Users can log on and instantly see they are NOT alone.

Learning Survival Skills has never been easier... or more important. Become a mentor to possibly millions of LGBT youth around the world. With RSS feeds, we'll make it possible.

A Gay man San Francisco can become a mentor to a teenage boy dealing with coming out to his family in India. A lesbian in New York City who understands self-acceptance can share her knowledge with a young woman coming to terms with her sexuality in London. Through mentoring, online workshops, and the dissemination of vital information, the global LGBT population will be taught the necessary survival skills to live their lives as proud, open human beings.
